I’m the dark cupcake hummus.
SUPER CHICKPEA COMPASSION I DIG IT!
the dark hummus
this is true, I only eat the red pepper hummus which is like Sith dip.
Joe is commander chickpea which is equally accurate.
Being told you’re on a “restrictive diet” because you don’t eat meat is like being told you’re on “restrictive breathing” because you don’t smoke cigarettes.
those people should be charged with animal cruelty for what they did to that cat. poor fella.
One idiot vegan gives their cat a poor diet and everyone freaks the fuck out and hates vegans. But when a non-vegan person only feeds their cat hot dogs and eventually kills the cat from malnutrition just like the vegan, no one give a fuck. There are SO MANY successful and healthy as fuck vegan cats because their owners actually did research, but no one ever hears about them. Nope. Also, millions of animals are killed daily for the sake of meat consumption, no one gives a fuck. One cat dies and everyone mourns. You see how fucking stupid that is?
I could easily say that you should be charged with animal cruelty because you invest money in an industry known for it.
HUMANS DON’T LIKE BEING BEHIND BARS // THE PEOPLE WHO PUT THESE ANIMALS BEHIND BARS DESERVE TO BE IN PRISON // THE ANIMALS DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG // THEY AREN’T YOUR ENTERTAINMENT // THEY ARE NOT TOYS // THEY DESERVE FREEDOM
The Faces of “Free-Range” Farming
There is no such thing as humane farming.
This and sad and mostly true, but can I just say that de-horning of cows isn’t painful or brutal (it is even done for the cattle’s own safety and well being) and neither is artificial insemination, nor is it at all rape, and even compared to natural mating between cows and bulls its nothing. Artificial insemination is useful for choosing genes that will not cause defects and it is also time and money saving as a lot of hard to control bulls would be needed to breed a whole farm herd. Also starving chickens wont make them lay more eggs at all.
Safety reasons for dehorning:
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t tolerate or advocate any animal cruelty for the sake of better production.
But I also won’t tolerate or ignore rubbish facts fabricated to scare people into joining causes. and giving money.
"Don’t get me wrong, I don’t tolerate or advocate any animal cruelty for the sake of better production.”
Your “safe” benefits only apply to when animals are being farmed. When animals are being kept too many, too close, solely for the purpose to make the most profit off of them at the faster rate. You even mention time and money in your first defense! Fuck the farmer’s time and money. Dehorning is painful. It even says so on that silly wikipedia page you looked up on dehorning though, that’s really a “no shit, sherlock” moment, ain’t it? Cauterizing, a common method, hurts. Using caustic substances to burn the tissue development and keep it from growing, hurts. Where ever you heard that it didn’t hurt, you are wrong.
Force impregnating a cow, all pent up in a stall with nowhere to go, is rape. Literally one of the “pros” of insemination you have can be paraphrased as “It’s easier to rape a cow with a hand than force a bull on her because she doesn’t want it.” And yet again, all of these facts are from the point of view of benefiting people who are exploiting animals. Fun fact, they could only do it with artificail insemination. Female cows don’t have the bone structure to be mounted so many times in their lives. Their hips would break. This is why bigger, male stand ins are used to collect semen, as seen here.
Sugar coating why people harm animals “for their protection” is the dumbest shit. They only care to protect these animals when it maintains and improves cash flow.
