YOUR VOTE AGAINST ANIMAL EXPIERMENTS!
Please, anyone on my tumblr list who’s european:
Go to the european website and give your vote against animal experiments.
In order to treat these animals, they first have to get the diease or wound, meaning that animals which would have been perfectly fine get infected with viruses or inficted physical wounds to research and treat them. Or they get bred with different birth defects, even though the law forbids breeding animals that are born with genetical defects! Sick!! And all of that in the name of science and human well-being!
For those who are unaware: animal experiemnts are rubbish! Animals react differently to medication than humans, they react in fact differently to a lot of things! What is healthy for sheeps can be deadly for humans! Just because some medication cures cancer in rats doesn’t mean it’ll cure cancer in humans, or not cause a list of rather unpleasant and unbearable side-effects.
Instead we should use human stem cells and/or microchips for research, which do not only give a way more accurate result when being tested, no animals have to suffer for this!
Signing takes you one minute! Experiments take an animal’s life and causes it pain and suffering!
And should you not be european, please share!! Someone who follows you might be, let it reach them!
I believe that we can make change!
“PETA says Florida’s “feral” cats are better DEAD than FED. As shelters and health departments nationwide embrace trap-neuter-release programs, PETA remains a stalwart opponent of this humane alternative to killing, arguing that healthy feral cats should continue to be killed.
Now, PETA is fighting legislation that would clarify that TNR is not illegal in Florida. SB 1320/HB 1121 will allow them to be neutered and released to their habitats.

***URGENT, PLEASE REBLOG***
I really, really hate to do this but I am desperate at this point. This is my cat, Steve. He was my mom’s cat for 6 years (my cousin brought him to her after finding him living at an airport in Ohio) and has been my cat for a year and a half or so now. Yesterday Steve became a little lethargic and slowly stopped eating and drinking. We rushed him to the emergency vet and she told us that he had a fever and some abdominal pain and gave us a $1300 estimate that she said could go up to $2400 depending on what she found out. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I don’t get paid for another week and a half (we get paid once a month).
We had enough money put away for emergencies to pay for Steve’s visit and some medication but even if we got paid today our checks wouldn’t be nearly enough to pay the $1300 deposit that she asked for as well as pay our rent. The vet recommended that we take him home and bring him to another vet at 7:30 AM (roughly 3 hours from now) who would care for him for “around half price”. This is what we’re hoping for. The problem is that still we don’t have enough money, which is why I am asking for donations. Every little bit helps. If you could reblog this it would be much much much appreciated! Steve is the best cat in the world and we are madly in love with him — he is my boyfriend’s best friend. Any donations that go over his vet bills will be returned to the sender unless asked otherwise. Send all donations via PayPal to email@example.com, please and thank you so much.
